We can't really guerrilla market ourselfs to popular stardom against the music industry, but we still strive to provide alternatives for artists and listeners who might share our taste in music. You should email filipe links to your tracks. Please don't send binaries attached. Also please don't add the address to any sort of mailing lists, we already keep track of things, don't want duplicates of information cluttering the mailbox. Is this music really free? Just download?.. Do i need to pay to play it in clubs? Yes it's free. All tracks are released under a by-nc-nd creative commons license (unless otherwise specified), and are also all unsigned from any of those artist royalties ripoff associations. That means that it's free to download, distribute and broadcast without needing to pay anything to anyone, not even to the GEMA / RIAA / SPA / SGAE / TEOSTO / whatever. The only thing you can't do with it is claim ownership or release any derivatives commercially without the artists permission. Just as long as you are not collecting money from our artists work, you're free to re-distribute it in any way you see fit. This is great, how can i support you guys? If you like a specific artist we encourage you to support them directly, check their myspace pages for special contributions and upcoming events. If you're interested in supporting the netlabel itself, you can donate through paypal, we are non profit - all donations will be used to cut costs on printing physical promo material to give away at future events. For each donation over 5 euros you should get in touch by email and provide a shipping address to get back either an audio cdr copy of one of our releases, or a data dvd with all the latest releases, both options are shipped with proper plastic casings and quality printed covers. I'm touring with my project, can you book us some paying gigs in Portugal? Well, no. Unless you're an enough artist we're sorry but we lack the free time to invest in doing pro bono social networking, agency, booking and promo work for others, nothing personal. Actually we don't even have free time to do it non pro bono, so, sorry, but no, we can't. We can still refer you possible venues, support acts and local promoters, but then again you can also look it up yourself on last.fm and myspace so what do you need us for? You should really promote your label more! Yes, defnitely. Unfortunatly running enoghrecords is mostly a one man show, with a 9am to 6pm daily job, and personal music project, and interests in other areas beyond music. So you can imagine it's not very easy to find the time to constantly feed the hobby. We try to support all local netaudio initiatives as we can, give away some physical promo material, and ocasionally organize events to promote our new artists, but we will always lack free time to do it all. Luckily we've been getting to know more bloggers, podcasters and event promoters who are interested in the netaudio phenomena and give us a little leverage, but we realize we could and should be doing more. We have had wet dreams over random communication and event promoter students noticing our struggle and taking on the challenge to organize something for netaudio, then we woke up. enoughrecords is a Portuguese netlabel. We promote and distribute music from artists who agreed to release through us - for free.

We feel the world has been littered and missguided with ergonomic pop formulas for too long. We can't really guerrilla market ourselfs to popular stardom against the music industry, but we still strive to provide alternatives for artists and listeners who might share our taste in music. We believe music should be free. So if you enjoyed listening to one of our releases, share it with your friends, share it with the world. Just don't collect money on the work of others and try to mention it was released at enoughrecords. Above all, if you like something you hear let the artists know their music is beeing played, heard, understood and enjoyed by others across the globe.

We have a strong demoscene background. We slowly came to realize a special interest in electronica, IDM, postrock, industrial, noise, glitch, drone and dark ambient. Howhever, we are open to other genres as long as it sounds good and clicks something inside of us. We are not an experimental music label but we like sound with a certain character, not more of the same. We do not follow a specific genre or esthetic line, check the tags cloud if you're looking for something specific. Our plan for world domination is to simply release soothing sounds, emerging landscapes, from Portugal, Europe, World, into the cyberspace for whomever will listen. We do this for free, because we can. We believe the listener will find other ways to support the artists.

How can i send you my mp3s for a release?
You should email filipe links to your tracks. Please don't send binaries attached. Also please don't add the address to any sort of mailing lists, we already keep track of things, don't want duplicates of information cluttering the mailbox.

Is this music really free? Just download?.. Do i need to pay to play it in clubs?
Yes it's free. All tracks are released under a by-nc-nd creative commons license (unless otherwise specified), and are also all unsigned from any of those artist royalties ripoff associations. That means that it's free to download, distribute and broadcast without needing to pay anything to anyone, not even to the GEMA / RIAA / SPA / SGAE / TEOSTO / whatever. The only thing you can't do with it is claim ownership or release any derivatives commercially without the artists permission. All broadcasting and non profit distribution activity is perfectly legal and free of charge.

Where can i get this ENO 001 that i been hearing about?
There was a planed "physical" release of an xhale vs sense split 12" which never saw the light of day, we don't know how certain people claim having it on discogs.com since we never actually published it.. we reckon they developed some sort of secret master deadly ninja shadow technic, the kind that only gets passed within close master-student relationships due to it's overwhelming destructive power, a master of such technic manages to acquire 0-day mp3 releases of never released releases. we don't know how they do it but big respect to them.

What happened to enoughradio?
It's dead.
For those who don't know we had a pirate netradio running during our first year or so. Actually our first compilation enrcmp01 - Dreamers of Dreams was composed entirely from artists who broadcasted and listened to the radio on a regular basis.

What's a netlabel?

Register to our newsletter at http://www.connexionbizarre.net/cgi-bin/dada/mail.cgi/list/enoughrex/ and you'll get an email once a month with links and information about our latest evil plans for world domination. Greetings to Connexion Bizarre for letting us use their mailing list server thingie. Needless to say, we won't give out your email to any third parties, nor abuse them to send any other kind of spam besides announcing the new enoughrecords releases and events.

Can i share these releases using bittorrent or other p2p applications?
Yes. We want our releases and artists to be known across the whole multiverse and beyond. So please _do_ abuse whatever independent distributing technology you see fit, including http, ftp, dcc, fserver, cdr, radiocast, webcast, bittorrent and whatever other p2p solution you can imagine. Just as long as you are not collecting money from our artists work, you're free to re-distribute it in any way you see fit.

This is great, how can i support you guys?
If you like a specific artist we encourage you to support them directly, check their myspace pages for special contributions and upcoming events. If you're interested in supporting the netlabel itself, you can donate through paypal, we are non profit - all donations will be used to cut costs on printing physical promo material to give away at future events. For each donation over 5 euros you should get in touch by email and provide a shipping address to get back either an audio cdr copy of one of our releases, or a data dvd with all the latest releases, both options are shipped with proper plastic casings and quality printed covers.

I'm touring with my project, can you book us some paying gigs in Portugal?
Well, no. Unless you're an enough artist we're sorry but we lack the free time to invest in doing pro bono social networking, agency, booking and promo work for others, nothing personal. Actually we don't even have free time to do it non pro bono, so, sorry, but no, we can't. We can still refer you possible venues, support acts and local promoters, but then again you can also look it up yourself on last.fm and myspace so what do you need us for?

You should really promote your label more!
Yes, defnitely. Unfortunatly running enoghrecords is mostly a one man show, with a 9am to 6pm daily job, and personal music project, and interests in other areas beyond music. So you can imagine it's not very easy to find the time to constantly feed the hobby. We try to support all local netaudio initiatives as we can, give away some physical promo material, and ocasionally organize events to promote our new artists, but we will always lack free time to do it all. Luckily we've been getting to know more bloggers, podcasters and event promoters who are interested in the netaudio phenomena and give us a little leverage, but we realize we could and should be doing more. We have had wet dreams over random communication and event promoter students noticing our struggle and taking on the challenge to organize something for netaudio, then we woke up. Seems people only do their pro bono slave work and paid public service for commercial music. Let us know if you disagree.
